Dairy Free Ice Cream

Heard about this dairy free ice cream made from bananas and I had to try it.  I'm not supposed to have ice cream, which really is a bummer because I love ice cream.  So, to fill the void that was left from not being able to have ice cream, I'm trying this recipe and customizing it to my own taste. :)

Here's what you need:
2 or 3 cups Frozen Banana's (Sliced is best)
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries

Put your frozen bananas in the blender and blend until creamy.  If you want the strawberries to be smooth and creamy too put the strawberries in at this point, if not wait until the banana's are creamy.

Take your strawberries and put them in and blend until wanted consistency.

I would have made this sugar free too and made it with honey and cocoa to get chocolate strawberry ice cream, but I didn't have any cocoa so I added Mexican spice hot cocoa mix. Next time I'll add honey instead.

You can add pretty much anything to this recipe and it can be so healthy.  It tastes amazing and it's so easy to make. Have fun with it, and enjoy. :)

A Little Lace

So, this cardigan wasn't thrifted, it was gifted to me by a very nice lady my sister and I work for.  We helped clean out her closet and gave us all her clothes she didn't want.  I saw a Pinterest post about putting lace on a cardigan and just loved the idea of dressing it up a little bit with the lace.  This was my first attempt at the project and I'm quite please, especially since I'm horrible at sewing.  Those who are much more learned in the sewing area will most likely see my mistakes. But, I like it and that's what matters.  We shouldn't dress for others, but only to please our heavenly Father. :)

(Above) My cardigan before. Cute, but kinda bland.

(Above) I didn't end up hand sewing all of it. Used the sewing machine for the first time in years.

(Below) Yes, I like the outcome very much. :)
